The Painted Hills located in Central Oregon’s John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, are simply stunning; perfect for elopements, engagements or even a stunning sunset, wedding anniversary photo shoot like the one we photographed with Laura and Eric.
My sister, Sarah with Hazelwood Photo, and I traveled down to Bend from Portland for a fun girl’s trip. The models, Laura and Eric, were married three years ago at the Tin Roof Barn. Because they were one of my sister’s past wedding couples, we knew they would be a perfect fit for this shoot. Laura and Eric own and operate an indoor/outdoor beer garden and taproom called On Tap Bend. If you are in Bend, just them out!
Florist: Revel Petals | Gown Shop: The White Dress | Gown Designer: Tara Lauren
Amanda at The White Dress had some new Tara Lauren wedding gowns arrive, and she so graciously allowed us to borrow and photograph one of the wedding dresses. Brides, if you are still looking for a dress, you can not beat the experience at The White Dress in downtown Portland or their new plus size store in Beaverton, Everly & Opal.
And as for the floral, Marisa with Revel Petals created this beautiful, colorful wedding bouquet. Not only is her work incredible, but I also love that she is a Portland, eco-friendly floral designer. She only purchases flowers grown in the U.S., and she doesn’t use green floral foam. Check out her site to view and learn more about her and her work.
