Zilpher and Meda | Sander’s Estate Washington Wedding

We traveled up to Washington for Zilpher and Meda’s wedding at Sander’s Estate. We definitely felt the love for these two all around them from their 31 member wedding party to all the guests that attended. Reggae singer, Fiji, was even there to sing their formal dance songs along with Tacoma’s finest Samoan band, The Filimaua Band. They sounded AMAZING!!!

Being a Samoan person myself (Jerome) I really enjoyed the grand display of my own culture represented at Zilpher and Meda’s wedding! They performed an awesome “floor show” in our traditional Samoan style clothing. The floor show is typically performed for entertainment at various family functions and formal events. Zilpher and Meda also performed the Taualuga which is a Samoan version of the money dance, and this dance is always performed with lots of joyful screaming called “fa’aumu”, and wild enthusiasm!
