Wedding Videography Q&A

Q: Why Should I Hire a Wedding Videographer?
A: We hear from almost every couple that their wedding day came and went so fast. Many couples have used the phrase, “It felt like a blur!” Memories of the day's events will start to fade quickly, and the best way to preserve them is through video. A Professional Videographer is there to specifically focus on videotaping your wedding. This allows your family and friends to enjoy themselves completely without having the added responsibility of videotaping your wedding. A professional uses the proper equipment to not only capture high quality video but high quality audio as well. They can edit your wedding and reception using high-end editing equipment/software to create an artistic, fun, and engaging vision of your wedding day. Once the editing is complete you will have a beautifully labeled and packaged DVD(s) that you can add to your collection and share with future generations.

Q: Aren't Wedding Videos long and boring?
A: Not these days, but it may depend on which Videographer you choose! Make sure you watch samples of their work and see if their style compliments you. Wedding Videos today are not just some guy in the back shooting your wedding. They are fun to watch, creative, like a short film featuring you and your significant other on your wedding day.

Q: How long will our final Wedding DVD be?
A: Typically, your final Wedding DVD will be between an hour to an hour and a half. It may be even longer depending upon how long your ceremony lasts.

Q: Will our entire Wedding Ceremony be on the DVD?
A: Yes, we like to keep the entire Ceremony on the DVD because of its significance.

Q: Do you have Off-Season or Weekday Specials?
A: Yes, we have both. Please visit our Wedding Packages Page for the latest Specials.

Q: Do you attend Wedding Rehearsals?
A: We always try to attend each rehearsal so we can meet the Bridal Party and find the best locations for our cameras. If there are any special rituals or customs taking place, we can strategically place our cameras for the best coverage of your wedding ceremony.

Q: Can we pick what music is heard on our DVD?
A: Yes, we want your Wedding DVD to reflect your personalities and interests including the type of music you both enjoy.

Q: We are probably going to take our photos before the ceremony. Do you tape our first moment together on our Wedding Day?
A: Yes, most of our packages include what we call "First Moment" or "Special Moment". While it used to be more customary to not see the bride before the ceremony, more people are realizing that in order to get all the formal and couple photos completed, they must schedule time before the ceremony to complete them. This is a perfect opportunity to capture the first moment the bride and groom see each other on the wedding day.

Q: How long does it take before we receive our Wedding DVD?
A: It tends to take 3-4 months for the final Wedding DVDs to be completed. For couples getting married off-season the wait may be a little shorter. It takes this long to complete a Wedding because we want your DVD to be amazing! It is not unlikely that we spend over 50 hours editing one Wedding. We review the Wedding footage and correct any color/lighting and audio issues. Our Head Videographer has a degree in Audio Engineering so the audio is ALWAYS Superb!

Q: Can we order additional copies of our Wedding DVD?
A: Yes, you will receive 3 free copies and additional copies are available for $25 each.

Q: Do you keep copies of our Wedding DVD just in case we need to order more at a later time?
A: Yes, we keep a Master copy stored which we can make copies from.

Q: Do you accept credit cards for payment?
A: Yes, we accept credit cards.
