{what to expect}

{initial consultation} We offer complimentary consultations to get to know each other and to make sure we have a connection. You will be able to view more of our work and discuss your wedding needs and visions.
{book your wedding} When you have made your decision to book your wedding with us, we will send you our contract. A 50% deposit is required for reserving your wedding date. You will receive a copy of the contract and an invoice as your receipt of payment.
{engagement session / love story} Once you have booked us for your wedding, you will have the options of having an engagement session (photo shoot) or love story (video shoot) filmed for your reception. We will discuss with you locations for your shoot and set up a time and date. This will usually take place at least 3 months before your wedding date, but arrangements can be made if you decide to use these services closer to your date. We will give you guidance on how to approach the camera and help familiarize you with our shooting style so you know what to expect the day of your wedding. Engagement sessions and love story filming usually take about two to three hours.
{two weeks before wedding day} By now you should have a good idea about the sequence and timing of events of your wedding. We are available to discuss your wedding day schedule with you and make recommendations. If we are not familar with your ceremony or reception location, we will most likely visit the locations to help us prepare and come up with ideas for shooting. We will also provide additional paperwork that will need to be filled out and returned at least 2 weeks before your wedding date. Your final payment will also be due at this time.
{the wedding day} We typically arrive an hour ahead of our scheduled start time to say hello and start setting up. If you hire us for Videography then we will need some time to set up microphones at your ceremony location. During your wedding day, we encourage couples to come to us with any questions or specific requests that will make your day more memorable. At the end of our scheduled time we will approach you to say goodnight, and ask if you would like us to stay longer which would require an additional fee.
{after your wedding} You can expect your wedding video to be completed in about 3 to 6 months. It is not unusual for us to spend over 40 hours editing one wedding, so it will take a little longer to receive your finalized video. If your package includes a Wedding Highlight Reel, we will notify you when it is posted on our blog. Once you receive your wedding videos in the mail, you will have 2 weeks to contact us about any changes that might need to be made. After the 2 weeks, we will no longer be able to do any re-edits. Photos are usually edited and uploaded online in about 1 to 3 months. You will receive notification on how to view your images online. Once we are finished with your photos, we will mail you a disc containing all of your wedding photos. If you ordered an album, you can then pick the photos you wish to appear in it. We will then begin working on designing your album and once it is complete we will have you approve the layout before printing.
